Attended five universities, acquired degrees in History and Urban Planning, and a teaching credential in history. I've been a fan of the history of the United States for decades. I enjoy helping students learn and understand the intricacies and implications of the story of this country, especially in today's global context.
Experience
I have tutored for decades, always enjoyed it at least as much as classroom teaching. Instruction can be tailored to each student's needs, and it is very satisfying to be a part of each students' success. Over the years I've taken about every undergraduate class in United States History that can be offered at the university level, and most classes and seminars that are offered at the graduate school level.
